The Challenge
Malca-Amit had years of sustainability activity underway across its global network: EV fleet expansion, solar installations, waste reduction initiatives at locations worldwide. What the company needed was to bring that work together into one group-wide picture, backed by data, credible enough to anchor a strategy and share with clients. Consolidating that across 117 locations with different sizes, cultures and operating contexts was the real challenge behind this first report.

Single Materiality Assessment
Before collecting any data, Malca-Amit needed to know what to measure and why. A rigorous impact materiality process, informed by employee input and aligned to GRI standards, identified the sustainability topics most relevant to the business.
