Swixx BioPharma is a pharmaceutical commercialisation partner operating across more than 45 countries, with more than 1,700 employees. The company had a strong appetite for sustainability among its employees, but limited dedicated resources and a developing ESG structure. After an initial EcoVadis assessment, Swixx needed to strengthen its documentation, evidence, and internal ownership.

An Insights Report was completed, followed by assessment completion and appeal support.

Existing policies, procedures, evidence, and KPI reporting were reviewed against the EcoVadis framework. New and amended policies, including sustainable procurement, were developed.

A shared workspace was created for documentation review and feedback. Swixx’s Green Team and colleagues across relevant functions contributed to the assessment process.
Key Outcomes
EcoVadis score improved to 76 to 78 points
Swixx moved from the 15th percentile in October 2024 to a Silver medal after appeal. The score improvement created a stronger position with external stakeholders.
Stronger foundation for future ESG priorities
Swixx developed a more complete understanding of its sustainability performance and EcoVadis expectations. The company can now focus on priorities including sustainable procurement, carbon footprint, employee wellbeing, and future reporting preparation.
