My name is Al Hoster, Managing Partner at Found, where I’m responsible for all sustainability-related matters. We call ourselves a green hybrid retail agency, delivering sustainable, tailor-made retail campaigns—both online and offline—for clients across retail spaces.
Our vision is to become the leading retail agency for sustainable solutions in the coming years. We partnered with Nexio Projects to support that ambition. We began with a gap analysis, which provided valuable insights and led us to define a multi-year sustainability strategy. That process ultimately inspired us to pursue B Corp certification and conduct a full carbon footprint assessment (Scopes 1, 2, and 3).
Nexio’s team played a crucial role. They delivered in-office workshops, clearly explained each step of the journey, and inspired our team through their knowledge and positive energy.
Another key part of our journey involved our vendor network. While it wasn’t easy to gather all the information, Nexio helped us communicate the value of sustainability, not only for us but for our partners too. That ripple effect is important—our clients increasingly expect sustainable action, and our suppliers are beginning to follow suit.
Sustainability is no longer optional. If you don’t adapt, you risk being left behind. That’s why we regularly sit with suppliers to explore innovations and share ideas. It’s become a continuous, collaborative process.
My advice to other companies? Go for it. Yes, it takes time, and yes, it’s complex—but with the right partner like Nexio Projects, you’ll find your way. Today, clients don’t just see us as a production agency—they see us as a sustainability partner.
