Nada Afra

Growing up amidst East Kalimantan, Indonesia’s rainforests and winding rivers, Nada developed a strong affinity for the environment from an early age. Witnessing the harmful impacts of deforestation, pollution, and climate change, she felt a profound urge to act. Nada’s firsthand experiences with the indigenous community and environmental issues inspired her to seek further opportunities. Thus, she embarked on her journey by relocating to the Netherlands to pursue a Master’s Degree in International Development Studies at Utrecht University. Driven by her commitment to making a difference in the environment and society, Nada also engaged in volunteering, internships, and participation in international conferences.
