Matthijs Germs

Born and raised in the Netherlands and having lived across four continents in his early twenties, Matthijs is passionate about positively impacting the world, and he believes businesses have a big role to play in that. It’s his dream to contribute to building a world that is systemically equitable to nature and all her species. 

He has a track record of strategizing and implementing change across various environmental, social, and governance topics. He has worked with corporate clients and SMEs, ranging between 50 and 60,000 people across different sectors on an international scale. Others appreciate Matthijs’s authenticity, integrity, adaptability, and strength to radiate positivism in a group. Outside work, he loves travelling, surfing, being outside, meditating, personal development practices, discovering and playing music, and volunteering as chairman of the local Global Shapers Amsterdam hub.
