Scope & Role of Impact

  • Lead and coach the Sustainability Advisory team of 20+ consultants and analysts.
  • Contribute to the development of the team’s strategy and oversee the execution of the strategic plan, in close collaboration with the COO.
  • Lead the efforts to develop and optimise the service portfolio and internal processes within the team.
  • Lead projects and project teams and ensure projects are delivered on budget, on time, within scope and of high quality.
  • Directly communicate with sales and project planning teams regarding project scopes for future projects and team capacity.

 

Your Typical Week

It’s Monday morning, and you’re returning to the office refreshed from a great weekend. The week starts with our team meeting, where we reflect on the learnings of the past week and share intentions for the coming one. This creates a space for alignment, awareness, and enthusiasm before stepping into the new week and allows everyone to get the latest updates from different departments while hearing about the organisation’s growth. As a key decision-maker in the organisation, you will lead our sustainability advisory team. You will have an active role in shaping and steering the operational goals & KPIs, while supporting your team’s senior team. The week ends with our Friday Gratitude Award, where we share drinks and close the week with celebrations.

Leadership / Supervision

  • Strategic plan execution and lead process improvement, service development, expertise, and knowledge creation within the team.
  • Coach, guide and evaluate up to 4 senior direct reports, guiding them in their professional development.
  • Provide tangible leadership and set a best practice example on project work.
  • Ensure that performance expectations are clear within the team and that performance is being effectively monitored.
  • Create a climate of trust and openness in the team and encourage a culture of recognition and constructive feedback.
  • Support/teach creativity and innovation in teams and act as an inspirational leader.
  • Collaborate closely with the commercial team on service development, proposals, and other commercial activity.
  • Participate in focused monthly meetings with management and other department leads as well as annual leadership retreat.

 

What You Deliver

  • Support the team in achieving targets for each project and monitor key performance indicators to identify improvement areas.
  • Support the development of a client focused organization.
  • Establish senior client relationships.
  • Lead creativity and innovation in teams.
  • Develop a deep understanding of market trends, upcoming regulations and lead the improvement of current services in response to market evolution.
  • Lead research, content creation and marketing efforts of team, including ebooks and digital events.
  • Responsible for commercial results of the SA team.
  • Set all aspects of project culture including quality and prioritization of reviews.
  • Lead appraisal cycle of team members.

  • Plan and lead change to make it stick and drive scalability in line with Nexio Project’s ambitions.
  • Collaborate across teams and able to leverage multiple disciplines in Nexio Projects.

  • Responsible for client care/delivery on specific projects.
  • Demonstrate Nexio Projects’ values and ethics and act as a strong Nexio Projects ambassador.
